That's right folks, CGPAD.org is holding a 'New Year' prize driven contest for all its members. This time its the chance to WIN a fabulous

WACOM Bamboo Graphics Pad

This contest is open from the 1st December and the closing date is midnight (GMT) on the 31st January. That's 2 calender months time scale so anyone interested has plenty of time for some amazing art work.

So what do you have to produce for the chance to WIN this fabulous prize?

*Produce a new piece of artwork based on the art period: Romanticism

This art period has plenty of variety to satisfy most peoples styles and influences, for those that arent aware of this particular period here's the Wikipedia link. [link]

Whether you want to produce a landscape or portrait or even put your own take on the 'movement' be my guest. The image must satisfy the overall theme though. Again all 'rize driven contests' have restrictions and guidelines and they are listed below:

* Registered members ONLY
* Minimum Post Count: 25
* Number of Entries: One newly produced original piece
* Media: Digital, Traditional, Mixed, 3D
* References can be used but must be stated on your entry
* Studies and copies of artwork from the Romanticism Period is not allowed, it must be your original work only.
* Submissions in the 'Submissions' thread only please, wips can be shown in this one thou
* Staff (excluding Admin) are permitted to enter

So if you want to start off the New Year with a spanking new Wacom or simply fancy having a go at this theme then get sketching peeps, there will be no extensions to the deadline.
